Expo Line Elevator Replacement

AES provided detailed design and engineering services for the replacement of 22 elevators at 15 different TransLink Expo Line stations, determined to have reached life expectancy and requiring significant upgrade or replacement.

The project will be completed in 2 phases. Phase 1A will involve reviewing existing systems and infrastructure and developing specifications, scope of work and design options for the elevator replacements. Phase 1B will consist of a site survey for each location, as well as a complete design package for the electrical scope of work, to include power distribution system associated with elevators, fire alarm systems, exit signage review, lighting, and power and conduit to elevator communications and security systems.
