BRENT LIPSON

SENIOR ASSOCIATE | P.ENG., LEED AP BD+C

I approach my work with the client’s goals front and center, working with them to understand the problems they need to solve, their constraints, and preferred approaches. My close attention to detail and technical depth helps me to tailor the right solution and deliver it with attention to quality, cost, and schedule.

I especially enjoy working on projects that have a broader impact for both society and the environment, with a focus on healthcare and transportation, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and innovation. Some of my project highlights include the province’s first high-powered electric bus chargers, DC-powered microgrid research, and the St. Paul’s Hospital campus redevelopment. I am happy to have an integral role in buildings, facilities, and infrastructure that are positively impacting local communities and people’s health and wellbeing and raising the bar for future projects.

AES is a great place to work, and I value the commitment of the organization to sustainability, and the diversity and energy that are in our offices. Everyone brings a unique perspective, diverse technical skills, and a complimentary mix of strengths. Since I joined in 2014, I’ve witnessed both company growth and positive evolution of our leadership structure, including younger engineers who got their start at AES stepping into leadership roles.
