As a Principal, I revel in the opportunity to solve the practical, technical problems often encountered as part of the work we do at AES.
I started my career in the electrical industry in 1962 as a construction electrician. My 25+ years of experience as an electrical safety regulator, including 17 years with the City of Vancouver as the Electrical Safety Manager, Chief Electrical Inspector & City Electrician, has proven invaluable in resolving technical challenges – from the simple, to the most complex.
In addition, I am actively involved in developing CE Code, national and international electrical safety standards, writing for industry journals and participating in various trade associations, including CSA, NFPA, IEEE, ULC, SCC and IEC.
