PRINCIPAL | B.ENG., LEED AP BD+C

As a Principal at AES, I am responsible for project planning, project coordination, ensuring the designers have the resources they need, and making sure that the process goes smoothly. I am thankful for the mentorship I received early in my career at AES from senior staff, and I would like to invest in the same way in other designers.

I deal with very diverse projects, from commercial to institutional and residential. As I move forward with a new project, I take the experience I’ve gained from previous projects and use it to enrich and evolve my designs, incorporating fresh, innovative ideas that have a positive impact on the lives of the people who live, work, and play in the spaces we help design. When I walk around Vancouver, I appreciate identifying the buildings that I was involved with and seeing the ways that I have helped AES to shape the city.

The UBC Student Union Building was my first project at AES. The building incorporated various types of spaces, such as restaurants, retail, theatre, offices, daycare, etc. It opened my perspective on AES. We are not just another typical electrical engineering company. We are involved in a variety of different project sectors, and we are not only pursuing sustainability, we are also incorporating technological advancements into our designs. I look forward to continuing to be a part of the talented team at AES and bringing forward interesting and challenging projects.
